PlanToys practices the ecological key points of moderation, reuse and recycling. Manufacturing processes are designed to reduce waste and save energy. PlanToys reuses materials and has introduced innovative ways to recycle paper and other products. We are constantly looking for new ways to improve and protect our environment.
PlanToys uses environmentally friendly materials.
Kiln dried, chemical free rubberwood
PlanToys are made from pure, natural rubber tree wood from trees from which latex can no longer be extracted due to their age. In order to keep the wood pure, no fertilizer is added to the soil during the last three years before felling. In order to strengthen the wood, it is subjected to a special, chemical-free drying process in drying chambers.
Adhesive from CO2 emission-free production
To assemble the toys, PlanToys uses its own formaldehyde-free adhesive, which is produced without emitting any CO2.
Non-toxic, water-based paints
PlanToys does not use paints that contain lead or other heavy metals. We only use safe, non-toxic, water-based paints on all of our toys.
Recycled and recyclable materials
PlanToys works with recycled and recyclable materials to minimize the impact on the environment.
Printed with soy and water based inks
PlanToys uses soy and water-based inks for its printed matter. These inks are more biodegradable and can be recycled more effectively than standard chemical inks.
